Tara McCaslin

Hi there! My name is Tara and I am a Certified Professional Midwife, Certified Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), Childbirth Educator, and your resource for all things birth. 

I graduated from Milan High School in 2011 and then from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2016. It was at UTM that I received my bachelor's degree in International Studies with a concentration in Women and Children's Health. 

Soon after graduation I began coursework to certify as a birth doula. Immediately I was eager to learn even more, and began studying to become a lactation counselor, pregnancy and infant loss (PAIL) advocate, CPST, and childbirth educator.

I have two beautiful children, Della and Cohen, who were both born at home. I love to travel and when I'm not burying my nose in a good book, I'm off planning my next adventure.
